Founded in 1976, the museum collects and studies the plants, animals, rocks and fossils of Pakistan. It is popular with school groups and families.
Highlights include fossils from the Siwalik hills, a whale skeleton, gemstones from the northern mountains and dioramas of Pakistan's wildlife, from the markhor to the Indus river dolphin.
